You must have caught the "dive bug" somewhere along the line. Now is the time to acquire new skills and continue your dive education. At DiveBee we offer professional grade advanced dive training taking you from your Open Water rating all the way to Rescue Diver.
We have prepared this handy summary with some important information about your certification class:
Duration: |
1 day (Nitrox) or 2 days (Advanced Open Water and Rescue), typically Saturday and Sunday.

Format: |
Independent learning and hands on training.
You are provided with a copy of your training manual (Advanced, Nitrox or Rescue) and DVD video covering all of the skills and requirements of the course. You should be faimilar with the course content and have completed the Knowledge Reviews prior to Day 1 meeting. |
Schedule: |
Day 1:
- Morning meeting to review independent learning results, Knowledge Reviews from your advanced training manual and answer any questions.
- Pool session with skills demonstration and training (only applies to Rescue Diver course)
- Lunch is served.
- Afternoon continues with our first two open water dives from our boat in Lantana, FL for Advanced Open Water (NOTE: Nitrox certification does not require any open water dives, but we highly recommend taking the afternoon boat dive with two Nitrox tanks for practice and first hand experience) or second pool session for Rescue Diver course.
Day 2:
- We continue our training with two additional open water dives from our boat.
- Lunch is served.
- We finalize our training with the last two dives from our boat (for Advanced Open Water course only).
- Final de-briefing is held at our location to answer any additional questions, process certification cards and discuss future diving plans.

Prerequisites: |
For Advanced Open Water and Nitrox classes you have to be a certified Open Water diver with PADI, NAUI or SSI.
For Rescue Diver course you have to be a certified Advanced Open Water diver with PADI, NAUI or SSO and hold certification in First Aid/CPR from EFT, Red Cross or similar organization. DiveBee provides your EFR certification if you don't have one already.
Must be in good health and at least 18 years old. |
What to bring: |
Bathing suit, sunscreen and beach towel(s). |
Make sure to Reserve early as our Advanced Training classes are extremely popular and tend to fill up quickly.
